How to play Seven Eleven?

We have talked a lot about casino games in the blogs at Casino777.ch so far. Roulette or many card games like Black Jack or Poker were in the foreground. Now follow blogs about games where dice are used as “lucky dice”.

Today the American classic Seven Eleven is presented to you.

Dice as “random generator” are known for a very long time. Since about 3000 years dice were used in India, Egypt, Iran or Pakistan. Very great affection for the dice game is said to have been shown to the ancient Germanic tribes.

While the dice were very popular among friends and acquaintances, they were considered unsuitable in casinos for a long time. But in modern times they found their way into casinos and online casinos. As representatives we want to call Sic Bo or the even more exciting variant Super Sic Bo on Casino777.ch.

But now to the most popular dice game in the casino:

Seven Eleven or Craps

General information

The special feature of Craps is first of all that the dice are not thrown by a casino employee but by a guest, the shooter. In Roulette, for example, it is completely unthinkable that a player gives the ball, just as it is unthinkable that the cards in Black Jack are not dealt by the casino dealer. The shooter does not use a cup to roll the dice, but simply throws the ball out of the hand. At the start of a round, the shooter is drawn and the other players follow in a clockwise direction. Each player may roll the dice as shooter until they lose a Point roll or if they roll Craps on the first roll.

The basic rules of Seven Eleven

Pass and Don`t pass

The pass line is usually on the player’s side of the table and the bet on pass is the basic idea of the game. The Don’t Pass Bar for 12 is just behind it. These bets must be placed before the shooter’s first roll of the dice.
The first roll of the dice – the “Come Out Roll” – opens the game.

There are three different types of Come Out Rolls:

  • Natural 7 or 11.
If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, he passes immediately. These dice are called “Natural”.
    Don’t pass loses immediately.
  • Craps 2,3 or 12.
If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12, he loses pass immediately. These dice are called craps.
On 2 or 3, don’t pass usually wins immediately.
  • Point 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.
Points have no immediate effect on pass or don’t pass and the shooter continues rolling.

From the second roll of the dice onwards:

  • If the Shooter rolls the same amount of points as on the first roll, pass wins.
  • If the shooter rolls 7, pass loses.
  • If the shooter rolls any other eye value, he continues rolling until he “hits” his Point or rolls a 7.

If the shooter wins, the dice are kept and the roll continues.

Other rules and betting

Come and don’t come

The come and don’t come bets are the same as the pass and don’t pass bets, but can be placed at any time.

  • Come
If a player bets on Come, he wins if on the next roll a 7 or an 11 falls or a come point, i.e. a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is established and it is hit again before the next 7.
  • Don’t come
The bet on Don’t come wins if a 2 or a 3 falls on the next roll. If a Point is rolled, Don’t come wins if a 7 is rolled before the Point. If the next roll of the dice is a 12 (or 2 in some casinos), the bet on Don’t come is usually a tie.

Odds bets

If you bet on pass and the shooter rolls a point, you can now play odds bet, an additional bet. The odds bets are usually offered by the casino with “True Odds” – i.e. without bank advantage. The bet depends on the bet on pass

  • Eye sum 5, eye sum 9: Odds 3 : 2

These odds vary widely in casinos, especially for field bets.

Place Bets

You bet that a certain eye sum will be thrown before the next seven.

The odds

  • 5 Eye money 5 before the next 7, payout 7 to 5

Lay Bets

Hard Way Bets
An even number, for example: 6 can be rolled by 3 and 3 or other combinations. If the number is the sum of two equal numbers, the hard way is called the hard way, the other possibilities the soft way. Example Hard 6: If 3 and 3 are rolled, your bet on Hard 6 wins, but if a 7 or a soft 6 is rolled before the hard 6, the bet loses.

The odds also vary greatly, so check with the casino before you play.

Seven Eleven: Conclusion

Seven Eleven is more than just a game of chance. Craps fans love the atmosphere at the table and since the shooter is a guest and competitor, the other players live with him. Next week Super Sic Bo on Casino777.ch – Good luck and stay curious.
