Dragon and Tiger

Like in last week’s blog, I’m going to introduce you to a fast game again. Simple and exciting, well suited for beginners.

Dragon and Tiger

The game, which originated in Cambodia, is very popular in Asia, but is also offered and played in European casinos and more and more often. Also at Livecasino777.ch you have the opportunity to play Dragon Tiger. The number of decks can vary, also the payouts in case of a tie. In the blog I talk about the way Dragon Tiger is offered at Casino777.ch.

Dragon Tiger is wonderfully simple, very exciting and lives from the quick decision. It is a card game where the objective of the game is explained in one sentence:
You bet on whether the Dragon or the Tiger gets the higher card!

Possibilities of use

You will find a red field for the dragon and a yellow one for the tiger. In between there are two green fields with the bets on a tie. You can place a bet on any tie or on a suited tie.

Card values

The card value from the lowest to the highest card is as follows: The ace counts 1 and is the lowest card, followed by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen and King.

Payout odds

The bet on the dragon or tiger is paid out at a ratio of 1:1. In the event of a tie, the payout ratio is already 11:1 and a tie of the same colour pays out a whopping 50:1!
In the event of a tie, you get half of your bet back on the dragon or tiger. Minimum bet: CHF 1,– Maximum bet: CHF 10’000,–

How to play Dragon and Tiger

From a sledge with eight decks (52 cards each from Ace to King, making a total of 416 cards) the dealer in the live casino draws the first card for the Dragon and the second card for the Tiger. Both cards are immediately revealed and the winners are determined.

Betting statistics and result tables

As with the Money Wheel, the player has no choice after placing his bet. Nevertheless, there is a lot that the players can do. For example, the user interface contains a whole range of statistics and “roads” to help players better predict the outcome of future rounds. Dragon Tiger is often described as a two-card version of Baccarat, and the tables are also based on Baccarat.

Percentage statistics

As bets are placed, you will see the percentage of all bets on Dragon, Tiger and Tie on the screen.

Results tables

There are five result tables for Dragon and Tiger: Bead Road, Big Road, Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road.
Each of them marks the game results of a card sled according to a different pattern.
The difference is in the starting point and the way the Dragon or Tiger wins or draws are displayed.

The following markings are placed on the tables:

  • Red circle – the dragon has won the round.
  • Yellow circle – The tiger has won the round.
  • Green circle or circle with green slash – The round ended in a draw.

Bead Road, the “pearl necklace”

Each field in the Perlenstrasse shows you the results of the rounds one after the other. The first result is shown in the top left field, the next to the sixth field in the field below. (the bottom row). When the bottom row is reached, the next game round is entered in the top row of the next column.
You can change the Bead Road display by clicking on the field.

  • The first option is to display only the winner or draw:
    – Red circle with a D – The dragon has won the round.
    – Yellow circle with a T- The tiger has won the round.
    – Green circle with a T (tie) – The round ended in a tie.
  • In the second variant, the letter or number in the circle tells you which card was used to win or which values were revealed in the tie.
    – e.g. Red circle with a K – The dragon won this game with a king.
    – or green circle with a 4 – both cards were a 4.
  • The third possibility is simplified Chinese.

Big Road

The first result for Grosse Strasse is also entered at the top left. If the same bet wins again, it is entered in the same column below. As soon as the other animal symbol wins, a new column is started. If the dragon wins, a red circular ring is entered in the table and if the tiger wins, a yellow circular ring is entered in the table. If there is a green slash in the circular rings, it means a draw. If therefore in the first column three yellow circular rings are to be seen, in the second four red and in the third a yellow one so follows from it:
Last game: Win Tiger, win Dragon, win Tiger.

All other result tables result from the Grosse Strasse. In these tables, however, the colors do not mean used to indicate the winnings of Tiger or Dragon. The draws are not taken into account. We discuss these variations of the Great Strait only briefly.

Big Eye Road

The road of the big eyes shows repetitions with the red circular rings. Yellow entries mean a varied course of the game.

Small Road

The small road with the red and yellow circles indicates how changeable the course of the game was.

Cockroach Road

In this variant, red and yellow slashes are used to represent the course of the game.

These roads do not start with a new sledge, but after different columns of the Big Road. You can find more information on the Internet or under Help at Dragon Tiger in Livecasino777.ch.

Conclusion

For all statistics freaks there is enough to do at Dragon Tiger. Otherwise, this game is recommended for gamers who love quick decisions. Have fun with the new games on casino777.ch
